low batt~~

i'm tired..having a hectic weekend + yesterday public holiday. Thank God i'm still have the strength to go to work today.
Last Sunday, me & a bunch of friends stay over @ val's house for get together. The family warm hospitality really makes us feel at home. We've been "fed" by val non stop while we stay over at his house till supper at 2am in the morning. That night, we play uno - n i got a few new "students" that sunday nite, namely rurise & ujang on uno and they got addicted to the card game till 3am.

Next Monday morning, wake up around 7:30am..having breakfast n they continue with uno game again...by noon time, i have 4 more "new students" - val, wynet, boni & frank on the game. Apa lagi...rancak la with val "over action / reaction". And then...about 3pm, my bos called up & asked me to pick up something at the office (on public holiday pulak)..I forgot to inform my bos, i actually was not @ my own house which is near to the office...but since the thing is urgent...so have to...Actually on the day itself, my housemates invite some frens & church member to our house for a gathering in the evening as well. So i have to rush here & there (have to go to my colleague's house to pick up office pass card, which was not with me) Thank God she's at home...and i could reach my own house before the gathering starts abt 7:30pm! pheww~~

Now, yesterday's gathering was really quite amazing...being the "biggest number" of friends get together at our place (should be around 35 of us) & we also hear good news from a couple that the wife is pregnant (after being married for almost 10 years!!)...This time around, the open house is more like pot bless, every one brought some dishes to share...so less time to prepare for our guest...hehe...(good2) hope that for christmas gathering, our house will be more merrier than this...especially during christmas carol. (yahoooo~~)

Yesterday, at the gathering...my "students" about 9 of them are all around and as usual it's uno time again...

'till next time

Critics...how to confront them

Last saturday night, we have bible study again & was lead by Pastor Iben on "How do we confront critics?"

He asked all of us to read 1 Pet2:3-15
Taken from New International Version
" 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
The Living Stone and a Chosen People 4As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him— 5you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."[
a] 7Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone,[b]"[c] 8and, "A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall."[d] They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.
9But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
11Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. 12Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.
Submission to Rulers and Masters 13Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, 14or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men
.
"

Then he asked us to summarize the whole paragraph into 1 word. My group answer to the question is Kesaksian...on how we behave to other. But Pastor summarize the answer as Submission. To confront people's critics on us is by submission / Obey (Tunduk / Taat) and do good regardless how bad they treat us.

The he asked another question, what are the things that people (who against us) see in us to critic ?
-> all of us answer : our weaknesses & wrong doing

Yeap, we human usually like to critic people based on their weakness & wroing doing. The passage teaches us what ever / how abt the critics people made on us, we must not against them as what they do to us. But submit it to God & do good to them. That's what Christ value which we should instill in us. This makes me recall my own wrong doing which after the incident makes me really down for last 3 days of feeling guilty of what i've done. Really a good lesson of life which i experience. I do bad & at the end i'm the one "yang malu!!" such foolish of me.

Here's another versus which we learned regarding the above passage:
Book of Ephesians 6:5-6
5Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. 6Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.

God Bless

Ku hidup bagi Mu

Last week sunday, was Lynell who lead us in Praise & Worship. Here's 1 really nice song...

Yesus Kau kebenaran
Yang menyelamatkan ku
Kau membrikan ku hidup dan pengharapan

Ku ikut kehendak Mu
Ku perlu anugerah Mu
Kau nyatakan janjiMu kepada ku

Kalau ku hidup, ku hidup bagi Mu
Hati ku tetap, tetap menyembah Mu
Dunia tak bisa menjauhkan ku dari kasih Mu

Slama ku hidup, ku hidup bagi Mu
Mata ku tetap, tetap memandang Mu
Dunia tak bisa menjauhkan ku dari kasih Mu

Very meaningful lyric to express our love & gratitute to our Lord Jesus.

arghhhh~~~dirty!!

Last saturday was home alone...just doing normal task at home! quite boring ler..

That evening picked up my bro @ kl sentral (he stayed over at my place during the weekend)...he looks ok la, from his sharing seems like he easily get along with his housemates (Bornean) ....

On sunday, we have Kebaktian Bahasa Malaysia at the usual time....and i have sunday school with Caressa (Mind you, the boys was terribley notty yesterday) .... that afternoon, i joined the Geng to PC for our usual lunch hour. Later that evening, we joined the church's sports day (friendly match with Basel Church)...it rains heavily that evening, only football match was going on. We (the ladies) only start our game (captain ball)around 6pm. SM 4 BC 0 (hehehe)...when the rain stops, we on our way to the field for net ball (now this is the highlight)...the field condition was terrible *wet / licak" yak....we have to take off our shoes to play the net ball...man...feeling like playing football (so dirty). Once in a while, we get to sip of "earth milo" yiakkkk!!! Few of my team "tergelincir" a few times because of that...but we play very well (i mean both of the teams)...we manage to get draw scores for the game...when we have our rest it almost 7+pm...very tiring...Overall, we played a good game with great game team from BC, draw score for football(guys) & netball (ladies), we losed to BC in "bola tampar" haih~~~ but overall we do have fun time with them...

Yesterday, we have Raya Open house for our division....and as i mention earlier, i was involve in my unit performance rite? guess what!! we got 2nd place of best performance (huhu...not bad ho) here's some of the pics of our stage performance...

as days goes by

Not much entry to upload this few days...dull dull days goes by
This week, feeling that the days goes by really fast...& soon the weekend come again...
This weekend, i think gonna meet up with my bro, he had already arrive here last Tuesday, staying @ "hostel" currently.

This sunday, there will be another sports day with the Basel Church. Really hope it's not going to rain that evening...musim tengkujuh lately la

Hmmm....Next monday, is our division buka raya day. This year around, it's gonna be special one as this is the last raya gathering with our VP who is going to be "pencen" next year. He has been very generous sponsoring for this year event. For the special event, our division suggest to do a performance...haih...they suggest to do a sketch (more towards mime about raya scenario)...and i have been choose to be 1 of the character. I'm not against it, no harm to participate. But felt shy la to act in front of people. and wat worst, being request by the bosses to wear raya cloth. Haih, i never wear kurung to work, the very last time i wear that is during my orientation @ Uni. hmmm...i don't think i'm going to wear any kurungs la, but maybe baju kebaya (the only wardrobe i have which related to the event). Thought of wearing my pink "ngepan iban" which have been modified / modernise (plus, pink is my division color theme)...hmmm...but then, hard to walk around with that skirts. So to be safe, without spending any money on new cloth (just for that occasion)...pakai sajalah kebaya

Thank God, today is pay day. So i'm able to take a breath again (refresh .. fuhh~) having hard time to cope with money this few months due to my debt with credit card (bought some flight tickets for next year travel). Honestly, i'm quite worried though, cos my bro is studying here, so he shall need some money for his study & spents...my dad has his own commitment for the household & church as well...so i've try to help out as much as i could. I know money won't be enough...plus the high cost of living...For my bro, i don't think he can rely on the loan as i'm quite sure the loan may just enough to pay his semester but not enough for the spent. I still remember my 1st year Uni year, back then i also apply for the loan...but left few hundred ringgit to spent / semester *abt 4 months*. But still greatful though, at least it able for me to pay up my semester payment. Until my 2nd year, i got scholarship...able to pay back my loan, and quite plentiful of money to spent for study. At least, lessen my dad's burden & i don't need to worry abt $ at all during my study years.

Anyway, i still felt very grateful & thankful...nvm, no new cloth/shoe until end of the year.

save them with water!!!!

Yesterday night, we have our usual get together & during our chitchating, 1 of my friend make a terrible joke (really terrible indeed!!)

" there's 1 time, my neighbour's hut was on fire (the fire came from the BBQ janik activity) so while everyone to busy pouring water to the fire...you know what my father do in the living room? He was busy pouring water to our DVD player, tv & radio!!! eventhough the fire was so far close to my house (sighning)...then he continue...pa, why you pouring the water to the tv & radio?...his father was speechless"

And we? we LOL on hearing his real joke!!!
