Yesterday when i was helping my colleague with pc setup, she asked me do i know where i'll be put under restructuring (currently, my company undergoing major group restructuring which will be effective on 1st April 2008). I told her i have no idea where i will be put under as i hv't hear any news / hearsay abt it too. So i asked her back whether she know where i'm be put under. Guess what? she say i may not under the group which i'm with but under product marketing. hmmm...that's mean i may no longer handling managing my own product.
Today, i was approached by one of managers under A&P (Advertisement & Promotion) group. She's offering one of the post under her. She explains to me basically what is A&P job scope as i assured her that i'm not from multimedia & creative background, so i need further explaination on the job scope which basically assisting product's group on communications & event management. She gave me 3 more days (until this Friday to think about it). I'm still not sure whether i'm fit enough to joined this creative group, although i love creative things. But the issue is i'm basically have zero knowledge about event management & group communications. These few days i got to think deeply about this. Honestly i'm felt honoured being approached by this manager.
And today is salary day! yuhuuu...there's a lot of booth opening at ground floor selling different types of products. But the most talkabout booth is the chocolate warehouse sales. I got a nice chocolate bar from a colleague of mine " Favarger, Praline" a chocolate brand from Geneve. So nice. Tomorrow gonna share the wonderful gift with other colleagues as well.
Again, today another news from the office. Tomorrow there's someone from the floor who will be sponsored "nasi lemak" for breakfast!! yuhuu....then i don't need to think about what to eat for breakfast. Phew! a lot of surprises happened to me today.
